Our company was established as a Business Jet Maintenance Company through a joint investment by Marubeni Aerospace Corporation and ShinMaywa Industries, Ltd.The business jet market in Japan is expected to grow further, with the number of domestic arrivals and departures (domestic - international) in 2022 exceeding that of 2019 before the pandemic (COVID-19), due to high demand on both inbound leisure and business.

We provide maintenance services for a wide range of aircraft types, aiming to be one of the largest maintenance companies, specializing in business jets in Japan by leveraging the strengths of both companies: the Marubeni Group's knowledge and network in business jets and ShinMaywa Industries' technical capabilities and track record in aircraft maintenance.

In the aviation-related field, Marubeni has developed a variety of business models, including parts sales, aircraft-engine leasing, ground handling, and MRO businesses, in addition to its traditional services as a sales agent.In the business jet field, Marubeni Aerospace has established JAL Business Aviation Co., Ltd. in 2019, as a charter arrangement - management company utilizing the wide knowledge and network that Marubeni Aerospace has cultivated over the years.

By newly participating in the business jet maintenance business through the establishment of JAMS, Marubeni Group will strengthen and expand its business jet-related functions, aiming to maximize the value it provides to customers as a leading company offering comprehensive services ranging from aircraft sales to flight operation management, including charter arrangements, and maintenance services.We aim to maximize the value we provide to our customers.

New business orientation that expands traditional manufacturing aspirations and horizons

ShinMaywa Industries, Ltd. is engaged in the aircraft business for the Ministry of Defense, including the manufacture and repair of the US-2 rescue amphibian, as well as the manufacture of components for commercial aircraft in its aircraft division.

In recent years, we have also been involved in the maintenance of commercial business jets, and we are aiming to further expand our maintenance business and broaden the scope of our traditional manufacturing-based business. We will also expand the scope of our business based on conventional manufacturing and participate in aircraft maintenance and aircraft material (composite material) recycling businesses.
